Hi Sean,
Always liked Swan cases and have had many over the years but that Opus case seems awfully expensive.
Hi All hope you are well. Recent releases by the geniuses at Pioneer pro DJ have resulted in new cases for the Pioneer Opus Quad & the DJM-A9. These units have both been down to the swanflight factory designed and built.
As always if any of the moderators feel our posts are touting for business please remove just letting the Pioneer world know there are cases out there now for these great new products
Regards
Sean

Hi Sean,

Hi And totally understand the comment, This is quite a large unit and the larger the case the more expensive the case gets, The main thing that does increase the cost is the shape of this unit, There has to be a full CNC cut piece of foam in the base to the shape of the unit and there is also 4 sections of foam in the lid also CNC foam cut to the profile of the unit to hold it all in place. The pioneer team have came up with a very slick design on this unit BUT once the start adding fancy slopes and profiles to a unit it means time and money when designing a case. Could we have got away with just putting rectangular blocks in to hold the unit in place? possibly but when the piece of kit going inside a case is £3000 it really needs to be correctly protected and the CNC cut foam was the way to go. Unfortunately on a flightcase build the single most expensive component part is foam as its a by product of oil and we all know what the price of fuel is at the moment. Add in the time for the guys to cut and finish the CNC foam it all mounts up.
