Cannot change midi mapping DDJ 1000 stems RB
Hello everyone. I'm trying to map the new stems on my DDJ - 1000. The issue is that it doesn't allow me to map to any pad. So I'm trying to map the stem separators to the sampler pads, because I don't use them and I always get this error message that it is not possible. It is working if I touch something else like a button or knob, but not on the pads, any pads, not even on the FX. I reinstalled the DDJ 1000 drivers and its the same result.

So I can't midi map any of the pads? How is this possible on DDJ 400?

Sorry - I had typed up that you can use the PAD EDITOR to add controls for the part separation features but somehow that was deleted in my response!
Open PAD EDITOR, choose a pad mode you want to replace, then choose a template for either USER or TRANSPORT, then under the TRANSPORT item, you can find the part separation options.
