Random digital buzz using my S7

I am experiencing an issue that appears to be specific to my S7. I just bought a new Asus gaming laptop to replace my older HP laptop. Getting a random digital buzz when playing thru the S7. System is W11 Pro, i9, Nvidia GForce, 16gb DDR5, 1TB M.2 disk, 240hz video.

I have tried everything ever seen on forums and chat groups for performance issues with no help. The buzz does not occur on new laptop with my DJM250-MK2. My older HP laptop does not have an issue with the S7. Tried previous and current drivers, cables, performance power plans, etc with still no help. Don't know what else to try.

Have you tried different USB ports or a different USB cable? I'd look for a USB cable with a "ferrite choke" on it. That's the little nodule that's on either or both ends of the USB B to A cable. See if something like that helps, if not I'm not sure what the issue could be. Is the buzzing coming from a powered speaker or your headphones or what? Do you have your cellphone nearby when this happens? Sometimes those can cause a weird buzzing sound....

The problem was isolated to the hardwired ethernet port. When connected, the issue occurred and when at gigs I don't use a hardwired connection. I solved the issue by using a USB "data only" or 2.0 cable. By not having dc power on the USB cable, the issue goes away.
