Hi all - I recently bought a DDJ-800 controller and everything seems to be working properly except for the crossfader. It doesn't appear to be sending any MIDI information at all when I move it. If the channel faders are not set to zero you will hear both tracks regardless of crossfader position.
In the mixer tab under Rekordbox, all the channel faders and EQ knobs move whenever I move the corresponding ones on the DDJ, but nothing moves when I try moving the crossfader.
I've tried testing it on 2 different computers (one mac running rekordbox 6.7 under el capitan and another mac running rekordbox 6.7 under monterrey) and have also tried multiple different USB cables with no luck. Latest firmware 1.02 is installed on the DDJ-800 and both computers had the updated drivers installed.
Have also tried restoring default preferences in Rekordbox and tried manually assigning parameters to the crossfader in the MIDI setup panel but no luck there either.
Before sending this out to get serviced, are there any other things I should try? Thanks in advance.

I've recently run into a similar issue but not quite the same. The right volume slider won't play any audio until it hits about 8 and. I can see the slider moving when in the mixer view mode but it lags in the software until the slider hits about 8 on the controller.
I think maybe my slider itself is bad and am dreading the repair process and cost :(
