DJM 900 Nexus as a MIDI with SSL
hey guys, has anyone tried using the 900 nexus as a MIDI controller with SSL? It does work except for one glitch... for some reason the left deck keeps switching from relative to internal mode every minute or two. It's really annoying when trying to mix and it's really sporadic too. I haven't found any other triggers besides turning the MIDI on for the 900 nexus. I never had this problem before the 900 nexus and I even tried switching vinyls, needles, cartridges, cables, etc... but whenever I turn on the MIDI for the 900 nexus, that's when the problems begin.
Just to be clear, I don't have any problems with the setup until I turn on the MIDI function. Any help/advice would be great, I'd really like to use the MIDI features with SSL.
I've also updated all of the drivers/firmare for my whole setup as well.

Thanks Pulse! I thought I checked that before but apparently not. I had one of the EQs set to REL/INT so hopefully that fixes everything.

Aha! I had a similar problem with an old mapping from a Novation controller, when I used my CDJ-400's it would make the player go into pause mode every time I touched the pitch fader, took me a day to figure out what it was, I thought my players were defective at first! ;)

had a similar problem, everytime i hit the cue button on an 800 i had midi in it would start a 4 beat loop. Now i change every 800 i play on's midi channel to 5 or 7 cause none of my other gear is on those channels

that's wierd to me, a Traktor certified product used for SSL. Why not get a rane? Though I know the answer. DJM just blows rane out of the water.
