First you must set Fader Start function on in Mixer setup settings. (see page 22 of your user manual)

How to set up Fader starts on the DJM 900
Hey im experiencing some trouble working out how to link my CDJ 900's to my DJM 900 for fader starts. I noticed it doesnt have the control jack like what the previous mixers had. So instead i hooked up my mixer and CDJ's into a Network switch Hub. But still no response from the mixer. Am i doing something wrong?
And by linking them all up shouldnt my effects by quantized aswell? Please help!!

@Bronson > Each player has the ability to manually or automatically number itself; my suggestion is that you manually assign a number to each player first. (Do this by disconnecting any LINK cable and USB devices, then access the setting in the UTILITY menu.) Set it to the same channel you have it connected to on the mixer. You can then press the faderstart button and it will work!
