It's likely just a matter of replacing the pot. You could find a local shop who's good with audio gear to do it if you (or they) order the part.

FollowDJM800 Repair?
I just bought a DJM800 from a mate dirt cheap, basically the channel 3 EQ and colour filter is kaput, turning the EQ/Colour knob all the way up/down has about a 20% effect. Other than that, everything else is good
Does anyone know what's required for repair at all? Obviously I realise parts and labour are dependant on what's around in my country, but trying to get a ballpark figure.
Thanks
Angus

my DJM 800 had a broken channel three fader when bought it. it would cut in and out. the local music repair shop said it would cost $60 to fix. the part was inexpensive. the new fader is about 15 to 20 dollars. i recommend you get it repaired by a professional but i actually repaired my fader with electric contact cleaner. the fader was broken so i did not care if i broke it so i tried cleaning it. i don't recommend you spray the EQ's and colour knobs with electric contact cleaner cause the are completely different than the faders.
