When I scratch with the time coded vinyl or CDJ's there is a horrible delay in the timing. When I move the latency slider in the audio setup to the left thereby reducing the latency, a horrible crackle is heard in the sound or the songs playing through Traktor Scratch Pro 2. There is no happy medium between these 2 problems. How can I solve this problem?
Mac 10.6.8
Traktor Scratch Pro 2 V 2.1.2
DJM-T1 Firmware update 2

go back to version 2.0.3, which is the most stable for many users

No, still not good with version 2.0.3. The only option for sample rate for the DJM-T1 48Khz. In the tuning tips they say 41khz is the way to go. I need this option. How do I access this.
The latency on my TRAKTOR audio 10 was perfect. I need my DJM-T1 to perform as responsively as that. How do I do this?

My sound card NI Audio 4DJ works better than the DJM-T1 card. I wrote about it here. I think it's the drivers ...
Ah, I got it. The Keylock should be in scratch mode.
Still not 100%. Now what?
I'd like to bring this issue up with Pioneer to ensure they fix this problem with updated drivers or whatever else could be the problem. It's an important issue for all DJ's. My Final Scratch v.1 that I bought in 2003 has better latency responce than the DJM-T1. PLEASE HELP PIONEER!!!!
@Red Wood > Driver update was released today; give it a try and see if it helps.
Perfect thanks. Now for the absoulutely anoying fact that there is no way of post fader effecting individual channels. No send/return option, no post fader Traktor effects, nothing. But thats for another thread.
Hi, I'm back with this latency issue. Great, so the problem was solved before (January this year) by having to reinstal the driver, however every time Traktor is closed down and reopened, the latency VS irritating glitches, starts again. I have the latest driver, DJM-T1_M_1.1.0, but now it means that I have to restart my machine every time I load up Trakor because the driver requires so and Traktor resets it's driver on every restart. This is extremely annoying as you can immagine and extremely scary at a show.
Surely this is'nt happening to every DJM-T1 user. If so, why am I the first to bring this up? Please help by providing me with a solution.
How does DJ Jekey do it? Does he experience this problem?
