Pioneer Gear In Low temperatures

Hi, I'm moving from orlando to Dallas Texas and stopped by New orleans. Right now at night it gets down to about 35-40 Degrees F. and Colder due to the humidity and has made "frost" on my car this morning. It made me thinking

Does the hardware of pioneer gear get effected easily by temperature drops like this? its inside the car, but decent cold. Im having the equipment stay on the car for a couple days until i get to dallas on monday. Wondering if theres a temperature issue with pioneer gear.

Speaking from experience, have sometimes experienced condensation behind the screen on the CDJ2000, that does clear once it settles into a "normal" atmosphere.

@SpeakerHandz > Every electronic has a threshold of temperatures, but I think you should be fine. Just be sure to let the gear return to room temperature for a while before use again.

Best of luck with the move! :)

I've played outdoor gigs where the temperature was -40C (which is the same in F) and provided I wasn't warming it, the gear worked just fine -- but the headphone cord was a bit stiff.  ;)

Yep, I had some photos somewhere but they're pre-digital and I don't know where they are...

The other thing to note is the jog wheels will be stiff as the oil gets a bit gummy at low temps.  ;)
