Follow[SOLVED] DJM-900 nexus - How to Midi Map?
Hello Gurus:
I have a question about mapping two channel faders on the 900 nexus to two channel faders of my software (mix emergency for videos.) After I am done mapping the channel faders, do I have to leave the ON/OFF [Utility] button on the ON position in order tu use the mappings?
In the past I used equipment where I could turn ON the MIDI functionality, do all my mappings and then after recording al my mappings I would turn the MIDI functionality OFF on both the mixer and the software, and then I can use the controls on the mixer to operate the controls of the software. But with the 900 nexus, if I turn the ON/OFf [Utility] button OFF, I can no longer manipulate the software with the mixer.
Is that how it works on the 900 nexus? Does the utility button must stay ON all the time? Or can I turn it on, record the MIDI mappings, turn it off, and then able to use my mapping.
Please advice.
