this is what happens when I turn the mixer on...
What do you have connected to the mixer -- try removing ALL connections including headphones and try again.
Just started my nexus a few mins ago and got this same problem mixer is 2 months old
Any help?
I cant get the ticket dont know why so any help? Or im screwed because pioneer service sucks real bad here
@Cosmic > Are you saying the service here sucks because nobody replied to you in 45 minutes?
How many times is the LFO light blinking?
Have you updated the firmware?
Im saying the service in my country its real real bad (Mexico)
Light keeps on mixer wont do anything
Thank you
So no info about this problem?
Mixer has last firmware came in that way from the factory was purchased on september 5th 2012
@Cosmic > I understand and I'm sorry to hear you've had bad experiences with Pioneer's service in Mexico.
If you'd like a bit more assistance, I'll need to know how many times the LFO light is blinking.
Pulse mixer doesnt work at all the red light coming from the lfo button is all the mixer does
Same issue here with 1.28 help!
But my Djm900 was with firmware 1.26 just saw a say before my mixer died there was an update i sent them to the lame service in the state where im at queretaro mexico but couldnt fix it mixer was sent to mexico city service hope they fix it because the mixer was purchased on october 5th and died on november 27th cant imagine an owner of a club having this issues for me its a really bad experience with pioneer as well the hdj2000 headphones pricey comfortable great sound but. My first pair was purchased on august 1th of this year too and lastes around 2 or 3 months the headbang broke and right metal pad full of scratches .
Dont know with my cdjs1000mk3 and djm800 only problem had is they need to be cleaned and laser drive fro the players .
I think ill be done with pioneer for a while just want my mixer fix

To all that are affected by this issue, I've raised a ticket with the mixer engineers and I will update this thread with an answer when I have one.
Guys, some questions from the engineers:
What is shown on the display when the power is turned on?
Is the LFO FORM button flashing rapidly?
Does it flash more rapidly than the Beat FX ON/OFF button when turning it on?If the answer of #2 is “NO”, how many times does it flash?
For example, “Flashing 5 times” means “Repeating the process that the button flashes 5 times, then stops lighting for 1 sec.”Has DJM-900nexus ever been launched properly since the firmware is updated to ver. 1.28?
The Beat FX buton does not flash when turning it on. I had mine upgraded to FW 1.28, it worked for about 3 days before it froze up.
The LFO Light Flashed about 4 or 5 times then stays on, the screen reads Update FW Ver. 1.28. Tried reflashing the FW update, no dice.
Pioneer tech support was absolutely no help, they told me to send it to a repair center, now I'm having to rent this POS mixer for the shows I need it for.
Is it safe to update my djm-900 to fw1.28?
@Tyler > some more questions from the engineers:
"Before that, however, we have some questions as follows:
What specifically did the user do and see when he "Tried reflashing the FW update, no dice"?
If the update was not started in the above #1:
Please see the update manual and check if all the procedures were correctly performed based on the manual. If the update was started but “SUCCESS” is shown on the screen very soon in #1:
Is it possible to rollback to an older version (e.g. ver. 1.21 or1.26) and update it to ver. 1.28 again?"
Please can someone help me i have called pioneer in the uk today but no joy there. they are looking into another problem for me but since then i have had an even bigger one that happened the other night, first i thought it was a glitch i had to turn the mixer on and off 14 times before it started up as normal again. this is the only feed i can see slightly regarding the issue i am having but everyone else seems to be getting more activity from the mixer.
i have updated to the latest firmware 1.28, it was working fine for a week or so i haven't had the mixer only i bought it about 2 weeks ago so updated straight away, in order to make sure all of it was up to date after i set it up out of the box.
every time i turn the mixer on it will flsh the LFO Form mode and show the following on the display menu (see attached picture for image of the display and mixer), i can not even update it again because it will not even let me get to the update screen. if i press power on and hold down CUE AND BEAT EFFECT BUTTON it won't let me get to the update screen it will continue and stay on this screen with the mixer being unplayable for any audio, effects etc.
I have unplugged it, taken all the cables out restarted it. turned it on and off, tried to update it again but can not get on the screen, this is driving me insane this is my brand new toy and can't even use it.
I must add this all started happening after 3 days ago i turned the mixer off tin order to take the RCA Cables i had running into channels 2/3 which are the ones i mix on. i changed them over because i bought myself 2 Digital cables just to improve my audio. after completing the change i powered it back up and this is happened ever since. it did work 1 yesterday but as soon as i turned it off and on again when i went for something to eat the same bloody thing happened again not responding.
Please could someone help me with this problem im gutted i have no idea how to sort it and i really just want the best with this equipment which is why i bought pioneer in the first place. So far not living up to the expectations i expected :/
@Craig > How come you didn't get any job from Pioneer when you called them in the UK?
Totally remove everything (even the headphones) from the mixer (with the exception of the power cord, obviously) and start it up again. Any difference?
Tried all that mate, none of it worked I've had to send it back to the pioneer service centre for repair now, it was only 2 weeks old not even that when this problem came about. But there sorting it now they did offer me a black one for exchange from where I bought it from, but I wanted to keep my white one therefore it had to be repaired.
@Craig > Ah ok, glad they are sorting it out for you. Sorry to hear you had issues but thanks for letting us know they are getting resolved.
