DJM-5000 Gets REALLY hot
Hi,
My DJM 5000 get's really hot to the touch, I was wondering if any other users have this problem and have a fix for it?
Pioneer says that It's not normal, but I have seen that people have sent it and and there is no problem? So I want your feedback.

I do, I have a rack case like this: http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_prod.php?p=M6UE&k=135201
And on the Top portion, I only have an MEP 7000 Controller and Denon DND4500 Controller (player units are on the bottom) and then the mixer, It gets HOT HOT, like almost burn your hand hot.
So you're saying this is normal?

Is it safe to have the mixer be that hot for so long, say 7 hours?

Yes it's safe and normal -- it gets hot because of the transformer converting 120V into the DC power that the mixer uses.
