Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus (Distortion Issues)

Recently purchased a Nexus 900. Out of the box everything seemed to be working fine till I began using the Internal Card/USB. If I turn on for the first time - both my Mac (running OSX 10.6.8) and Pioneer (at the time running a previous firmware) Both would function fine using all my equipment/software, But should I step out for a bit and both my laptop and my nexus go to sleep/standby, and I come back and awaken both, I will get a great amount of distortion on all channels on audio playback, including regular audio from my laptop (using the nexus as a primary sound card). I also own a NI Audio 10 Card which was and had always been my primary card, and tested it and it works flawlessly even when the pioneer and laptop go into sleep mode and get awakened. So I did the obvious and updated both firmware and software as instructed, and still continued to have the issue. I did call pioneer and was informed that the unit's internal card might possibly be defective (replicated the issue over the phone and he even heard the amount of distortion) I ended up returning the unit which was easy and swapped for another brand new one. As soon as I opened the box, I uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers for the pioneer before anything, turned the unit on, and updated the firmware. Used it for a bit, stepped out, came back, woke everything up, and same issue. Ive tried disabling EVERYTHING , under the assumption that possibly bluetooth, wifi, time machine, anything might be causing an interference , and even with everything disabled and no applications running along side, it continues to distort all audio out of the internal card and headphones. Here is the kicker though, the only way to get rid of this distortion COMPLETELY, is to simply restart my macbook, and all is back to normal. Any suggestions? possibly this store has a batch of defective new mixers?

Ive ran my Audio 10 and in the past an Audio 2, and have NEVER experienced a distortion issue.

Current setup:

Macbook Pro, Traktor 2.5.1, Kontrol X1, Kontrol F1, Maschine,  Belkin USB Hub (Model: F5U237-APL-S)  - For X1,F1,Maschine only

Note:

Also forgot to mention that if you change the Audio sample rate when all is functioning perfect, 3/5 times it becomes distorted after the new sample rate has loaded, then if you try and go back to the previous or to any other, it stays distorted on all.

for example if I was changing from 48000, to 96000 or back, etc.

Heres the kicker to this one though, if I were to put the latency all the way to max (4096) the audio becomes clear to some extent again, but still every other 32 bar you hear the distortion again.
