Still Trouble with Recording Audio with the DJM 900 and Traktor Pro 2

So, I keep looking for an answer but it is obvious that things have changed.

I find many forums about how to get the two to allow for recording but guess what? Some of the guides must be outdated as some of the software applications simply do not exist. Example: The DJM 900 drivers look nothing like the DJM 2000 drivers which are always touted as being needed to be configured and yet they look nothing alike. I have no options to set how many channels I can use. I have what appears to be a driver pack with limited options for setting channels up but even after having followed numerous threads and even vidoes, (which all seem to be outdated) I cannot for the life of me get to record anything at all.

I have everything updated, firmware, driver software for every Pionerer product to include the Native instruments traktor.

I am requesting a new "How to" with a DJM 900 specifically since all I see are DJM 2000 drivers being used which look nothing like the DJM 900 drivers.

Please assist with showing me how to route the audio so I can record in Traktor Pro 2.

Thank you,

Rob

@Robert > I take it then you are on Windows... If so, which version OS are you running?

Tell us about your setup; what CDJs do you use (if any) and are you using them to connect to Traktor? Are you using any other hardware?

I would do like this, record your mix with a thirdparty program like Audacity or Soundforge and let Traktor do what its best for, controlling and choosing the music, recording with traktor takes just to much time and can be a real hassle and often the result is pure crap.

i invested in a real SSDrecorder instead, sure took abit of money, but i dont have any problems recording whatever i want, and the only thing i need is a couple of sdcards and can record 10ths of hours on one card both in wav or mp3.

Cheers
