Cue should be pre isolator
Hi Guys
I recently purchased a DJM 900 Nexus, and for the most part I am very happy with it. The only really annoying thing for me is the fact that CUE is post isolator. It seems to me to be quite an odd design choice to have it set up in this manner, as if you want to fade in individual frequencies, you can't tell if your tracks are perfectlyt beatmatched before you fade in. I know you can line them up first, and then fully isolate each frequency, but it just seems counter intuitive.
Ideally, a pre/post eq/isolator switch would be best, but of course that would require a hardware upgrade or mod.
Would it be possible to address this in a firmware update? Or is there a workaround that I'm unaware of?

It's been asked for years to have a pre/post selection option for cueing but it has never made it through to the final products. We'll throw it back in the ring for consideration again on the next hardware.
