Trouble recording with DJM-850

I'm currently trying to record from my DJM-850. Previously I have been able to record for 1+ hours without any troubles, but as of recently this is no longer the case. Sometimes I am able to record for a couple of minutes, however after that Audacity will crash and will refuse to launch again.

The same problem occurs with Windows Sound Recorder, and a few other freeware programs I have tried to use. In the case of Audacity, what will happen is the program will stop responding until I turn off the mixer. Once I turn off the mixer it will bring up a windows asking if I want to restore my previous session etc.

I am trying to record from USB, have the DJM-850 Setting Utility set to record from USB, and the version of the firmware / driver is 1.000
