[SOLVED] # of steps in DJM-900 digital channel faders

Enough.

The MIDI resolution is 255, but in terms of audio, it's many more.  I don't have an exact number, but if I had to guess based on a 16bit system, it would be 65,535 steps.

Can you please ask... I would like to know how many steps there are in the movement of DJM-900 channel fader when mixing audio.  Thank you.

Hello Gavin.  Trying to decide whether its better to mix inside Ableton (with midi) or inside a DJM-900.  Since digital mixing all sounds the same for the most part, it comes down to "feel" -- and the degree of precision with faders is a huge contributor to how something feels.  I realize this is not a common question for Pioneer support.
