I am trying to set up my equipment so I can play and load songs onto my cdj850s. I have achieved this but two things went wrong...
Firstly, the sound came out of the computer speakers.
Secondly (and most importantly) i went to use my djm 700 thinking all the controls would still work e.g.fader, effects etc etc but nothing. Is it even possible to do what I'm trying to? Is it just the setting in traktor or do I need some further equipment?

dont think you can easy set up the djm700 with traktor. IT doesn't have an usb midi port. only normal midi port which is one way communication interface...think you have to buy a traktor box (additional soundcard for mixer outputs)
What is a traktor box? I saw somewhere else that I need an Audio 8 dj from Native Intstruments. Are they the same thing?
