New Setup... Need Help!

No advice? 

If you came from serato, the best setup will be for me 2xCDJ2000NXS (support Serato HID), DJM900SRT (native plug and play serato support) and DDJ-S1 (the PADS etc add-on for serato) - best setup for serato ever;)

sorry, the add-on for serato is SP-1 ;)

OK - thanks! Quick question... Wouldn't it make more sense to just get the ddj sz ? doesn't that have more to offer than the s1?

i was wrong: SP-1 no S-1 ;) SP is just add-on with pads encodersetc, no jogs etc

If you want ONLY SERATO setup - it will be better and cheeper. But if you want a lot of flexibility and a raider set up for EVERY situation (playing with waves on cdj display with rekordbox analysed files is great) and no connected PC/MAC needed, then go to the SP-1, NEXUS setup ;) you can always buy the SZ after the nexus setup and connect the CDJS to external SZ system etc. lots of flexibility;) i would buy nexuses plus SP-1 ;)even two cdjs2k nexus and djm900srt and SP-1 plus later on the SZ :)

yes for sure, buy 2xcdj2knxs, djm900nxs, ddj-sp1 and later ddj-sz and got and  you've got lot of options for parties:

1. taking only DDJ-SZ plus one or two laptops for serato (if you want to play only serato  on 4 deck and must have the PC/MAC with serato) 

2. taking 2xcdjs2nxs plus djm900srt (with database built earlier in rekordbox and stored on SD or USB key (no need for taking PC/MAC and its great fun to use the waveforms, quantized loops, effects on djm etc) without taking your PC) - 2 deck setup

3. taking** the 2xcdjs2nxs plus djm900srt plus DDJ-SP1 plus mac/pc with serato** and got ultimate best featured gear for serato and a gear which handles the party when for example serato crashes etc (switching the cdj and djm mode and got normal mixer and players you can always play sd, usb,cd from) and if somebody comes to you with usb, you just put it into one CDJ and play the music straight on CDJ without PC/MAC

1. taking DDJ-SZ plus 2xCDJ2knexus (connect players to inputs in ddj-sz and SZ will act as a mixer for the two additional decks too),connect one or two PC/MAC with serato for 4 deck setup

No, SZ is only instead of DJM900:) so you just can go with option 4 and not to buy DJM and SP1

Couldn't the DDJ-SZ control my serato decks, and the DJM900 control the CDJ's? 

What's better with more options for live remixing? the SZ, or the DMJ with SP1??

For me djm and sp is better. Just add 2cdjs and will be great. Sz to control serato and djm to control decks- dont think it will be possible

Think the only way when you connect SRT and DDJ is to remap everything into your personal preferemces
