Pioneer DJM 900 SRT and or DJM 900 NX

Been using a DJM 800 for the last 7 years and just recently switched to the 900 SRT. 

New mixer is great and most allthe features are wonderful.

I am having trouble liking the new sound color filter sound

The sound color filter on the 800 is smooth and actually cuts the sound. 

The sound color filter on the 900 seems to have some resonance added and is not smooth seems to add to the sound level when used.

Are there plans to address this ? its really squelchy in my opinion. 

Firmware fix ?
