Issues with Pioneer DJM-900 NXS

Hi All,

I am not sure if it is the mixer or the CDJ, but I only seem to be getting sound out of one channel on my DJM-900NXS (Channel 1).

I have tried connecting using Advanced HID through Traktor and that did not work as it normally does.  Then I tried going through CD/Line via RCA cables and no sound or even lights lit up on any of the channels except Channel 1.  Anyone have any recommendations or had similar issues?  I realize the description is  vague, but I am new to using Pioneer equipment and am not sure how to troubleshoot this.

Setup:

Two Pioneer CDJ-2000

DJM-900NXS Mixer

Thank you for any help!

to get started, forget Traktor and the CDJs.

Have your mixer line out to your speakers and select the noise effect from the color section.  turn the knob one by one on each channel and see if you get audio out.

Make sure your crossfader is in center and all your trims, upfaders, and master volume is all up.

let us know what you find.

You are doubting it is the cdj or the djm.
So after the tips of walter try switching cdj's on channel one

You either have to ensure that you're using the 32bit version of Traktor (you can tell this if you don't have an ASIO device listed, only WASAPI), or if you have ASIO, make sure your audio configuration is set to external mixer mode and that you have properly assigned the channels.
