So to continue of from the 'DJM900 Nexus Compatibility With OS X Yosemite' thread, My DJM900 still is without a functioning USB port many months after it went on the blink in the middle of a mix one day.
So with the new Serato capability in the DJM900, I have been working tirelessly to get the USB port working again. So I have downloaded and installed fresh Firmware and Drivers ( The DJM wouldn't talk to the Mac's (x 4) at all and the Windows machine successfully updated the Firmware over ethernet. Unfortunately it didnt result in the usb port light coming on or the mixer being detected by the DJM utility drivers etc.
This is really starting to frustrate the hell out of me now! :-(
Can someone please just tell me what the hell is going on? Is it software or hardware? I just want it working again. please help! :-)
