Question regarding volume difference between two speakers SDJ-08

Hello,

I own SDJ-08.  I feel like there is slight difference in volume between pairs. Altthough I am using the controller, e,g. left speaker volume is slightly lower than the right one. I even tried to swap the channels in case it is because of the source, but again same problem.  What could be the problem?

I will also check them without the kontroller. Lets see,

note: I bought them brand new.

If you try it without the controller, make sure the level knobs on the back of the speakers are set the same.

Also try swapping the cables to see if there is a fault with the cables.

And check the Balance knob on your mixer, if there is one, and make sure it's set in the middle.

level knob inc eq etc. are all in same.

balance knob is neutral.

I also swapped the cables, too.

Again I feel like there is slight difference...

@volkanerkan > As Mark90 suggests, if you are going to try without the controller ensure the volume knobs on the back are set correctly. Have you the everything connected up correctly?

Have you tried swapping cables? Have you ensured all cables are fully pushed in on the mixer and in the speakers?

All done as told.  I feel like there is little bit difference. I dont think anybody could realize if they are not carefully listening. Or maybe my ears playing games on me. I just wonder if there could be any factory defect?? Again I am retelling, there is very slight difference.

@volkanerkan > Is the Master Balance on the mixer at 12 o'clock?

Could it be the mixer outputs? If you swap the audio cables going to the other speaker does one then sound 'lower', as you describe, than the other?

Failing this (and your attempt to change for newer cables / levels set the same on the back of the speaker / the balance on the mixer at 12 o'clock etc) then I can only assume a slight defect. Or its in your head ;)

I'm with Gavin, it's likely something further up the food chain.

I think it may be slight defect, I ve already tried above things, it sounds like one of the speakers has less treble then the other, the knobs are neutral.

If you sincerely believe it to be the speakers, return them to where you bought them (if they'll exchange them for you) or contact Pioneer tech support via the links at the right.
