[CLOSED] HDJ-2000 Authenticity Verification

Hi there,

would it be possible to check if HDJ's 2000 are geniuine by serial number?

I'm a little worried because every single detail seems to point that the're 100% real except this 'bent' under the Pioneer logo, so my Headphones look more like these on the right: 55.jpg which of course points that the're fake.

edit: I'm adding some pictures. Sorry for the quality, can't post better right now.

@S B > What's a "bent" under the Pioneer logo?  Can you take a picture and post it here?  There are no serial numbers for the HDJ's and even if there were, the fakes would also have equally fake serial numbers.

@Pulse

I edited the topic with photos. It's a little bit shame that HDJ's 2000 don't have Serial numbers but yes, it's possible that fakes would have fake s/ns anyways so... ;)

They look authentic to me, but you didn't show the most tell-tale point; the L/R markers.  What exactly is the concern with the "bent under the Pioneer logo"?

You can see it on pion3.jpg image. The foamish material under the Pioneer logo (this touches the head) has a little dent. I'm just asking to be sure this is acceptable ;)

I'm pretty much convinced that they're real because they sound awesome & the finish on L/R markers is perfect btw. Just one more thing I'm concerned about: they indeed are comfortable but after an hour wearing them my ears start to hurt a little, but it's a fact that I have quite big ears and they start to hurt on almost all headphones I've used ;)

@Pulse and @others

After testing more today I have to add a little more.

Unfortunately, major concern: my ears really start to hurt after wearing them for 4 hours. It is simply caused by the fact that the headphones (or earcups to be exact) press my ears, so for extended amount of time these pressed 'surface' on my ears starts to hurt. I'm starting to wonder if I'm an alien or have very weird ears ;) This worries me a little, cause I didn't pay so much money for pain. Any tips?

Other than that: the sound is really magnificent. Their build & feel is amazing.
