FollowNeed second opinion before I send back these fake HDJ-2000's :(
I recently bought HDJ-2000s on amazon for a good deal, but not so good that I thought I'd be scammed. After listening to them, I wasn't amazed and thought they might be fakes. Attached pictures below show the earpad and 'L' mark, which both seem to be clear indications that they are not authentic, but I wanted to get a second opinion before I wage WWIII against this seller (sorry for the picture quality, my camera recently went for a swim). Thanks for the help.

Check out the headband and see if the Pioneer logo takes up most of the space or not. If it's real, the Pioneer logo should be a bit small and only be across the middle panel of the headband.
This thread will help you...

That "L" sure looks fake.
Yeah, I'm with @Effect ... the L looks suspect.
Ditto....
How do they ever get parts???
@Trend > Make them themselves (hence crappy finish as their molds can be quite poor).
They're fake.
The horizontal stroke on the "L" is thinner than the vertical stroke (on yours), but the same on the authentic ones.
The stitching on the inner edge of the ear pads is visible (on yours), but not visible on the authentic ones.
