I prefer the 2000s, they're the top of the range headphones Pioneer offer. I find them a lot more comfortable than the 1500s and sound that bit better.
I'd recommend you go test them out if you can - we had great feedback for the 1500s at BPM.
So I want to buy some new headphones.
I currently own a pair of HDJ 1000. What should I buy? HDJ 1500 or HDJ 2000.
Will the 2000's be replaced by newer ones?
Thank you.

I decided I will get the 2000's. Do you know if the 2000's are going to be replaced soon?
@Alex > Pioneer don't make commentary on products that may be released soon so they could be replaced tomorrow or in several years time. I think you'll be very happy with the 2000s.
Ok good thank you!
lol & here is your announcement,

while i love my hdj2000s - im still liking the sound from my sennheiser hd25's... ten years on and they are still good cans! id' probably argue they are the best cans in the trade for the money... and much better than some that cost a lot more!
