Follow[SOLVED] HDJ 2000 let down
So Feb 26th I purchased a DJM2000, a pair of CDJ 2000's, and HDJ 2000 all brand new from B&H. A couple days latetr everything comes in and this guy is in heaven. Last night in the middle of my set I lost sound sound in my cans. If I play with the end at the mixer I can get sound to come and go. So I grab my VERY old Sony's and plug them in and all works find. So my brand new 3 day old head phones have a bad cord. Connacted B&H and they will do a product exchange but since I am unwilling to purchase a new set and then send the old ones back it will be over 1 1/2 weeks to get my replacements. All I need is the cord but refuse to purchase a cord for such a new product. Ok my rants over......... Love the decks and mixer just hope they last like my cdj 1000 and djm 800 have.

I think a new 2000 Nexus system should be sent to replace that bad cable lol ;) But really sendding a new cable would be great :)
I hope you'll appreciate we're not employees of Pioneer so it'd be very difficult to get our hands on a new cable.
Honestly, your best course of action is to return the headphones for a replacement set. I know you'll have a 1.5weeks downtime without them and for that I can only apologise.
Oh I'm sorry I thought this was a way to get a hold of Pioneer. I went a head and sent them back Thank you for your help anyway. Is this a known issue?
@Trevor > We're certainly here for all queries and problems, identifying them where we can and pointing users in the right direction when something goes wrong. In the unlikely event something does break, it has to be returned to that country's division who will organise the repair. I can honestly say it is not a known issue - this does seem to be an isolated case. I apologise again for any inconvenience.
Crap happens. My first CDJ 2000 Nexus power button was sticking right out of the box. After turning off and on over a day it finally stuck in and wouldn't pop out. I called Sam Ash and did as B&H offered, buy a new one (at my door next day) and I sent the damaged one back and got a refund 5 days later (weekend) for some of that.
I don't recall reading that others have had this issue... so it happens.
With my Pioneer Headphones, I don't unplug the cord that connects to the headphones, ever.
