[CLOSED] What are you guys using as a stand for your RMX 1000?

Hey guys, I've kinda set up a spot for my RMX 1000 on top of a studio monitor for whenever I use it with my DJM 900/ CDJ 2000 set... and I'm getting kinda tired of it... there's gotta be a better way!  I'm aware that the Pioneer RMX stand is out now... in France.  It's also looking like it's going to cost a couple hundred dollars (after currency exchange rate and shipping) just to get it.  What about my friends in the US?  What have you been using as a stand for it all this time?  Anybody get creative?  I'd preferably like something that sits behind the mixer like the "official" RMX stand but beggers can't be choosers I guess.

Anyways, would love to hear any info about what you guys are using and how it's working out for you!

I use a oversized beer box! Not really a stand but it works well for me, I normally place the RMX on the side. And it also serves as a perfect transport solution. And a drink is included!

I hate the Crane stand, I just got the darn thing and everytime I push something on the RMX or laptop the darn thing shakes up and down like a diving board. I'm keeping it only for my laptop as it's a little better because it's larger and heavier plus I use 2 hands when working with it but for the RMX, NO!

I also tried the Gator Arm 360! It went back to shipper 5 minutes after testing!

For now Odyssey LSTAND Laptop DJ Stand.  A little shake but not so bad. Is it perfect no, but it works until PIONEER releases a stand for us Americans like they have for the French!

I'm a little pissed about the after market products pioneer DOESN'T offer, that people want built just for their products but fail to do so. You would think a company would also want to make money on accesories but also support their products. I've bought just about everything Pioneer from speakers to those damn HIGH $$ Cables. The other accesories I needed for my Pioneer setup were not available for one reason or another. It's money lost...

Let the mixer rest on the bottom of the stand and it should stiffen it up

I use a normal Oddyessy stand that is normally used for a laptop. I bought the chep 25 dollar stand and it works fine. I would love to get the Pioneer official one. But I dont want to order something from overseas. Not sure why Pio is not gonna sell them here in North America??

Guy you can just order it off Sonovente it's a French website but I had my stand shipped to Canada - official stand and it is wonderful
You don't need to know French, just load up the site in google chrome and it will prompt you to translate it into English
