mines in the loft and now on ebay, whats inside the door? got any pics?
On the efx 1000, on the left side of the machine under the word pioneer there is a hidden connector that is close to the front of the unit. It has a little hidden door that comes off. I was wondering what this is for? I have looked online and in the manual and can't find anything that even mentions it anywhere... Anyone have a clue?

my camera is charging so here is a grainy shot off my FaceTime camera on my computer. it doesn't look like usb but is square like it... so maybe.. idk i didn't want to start shoving things in there to check. but its not in the manual or referenced anywhere i can find
it looks like its a port specifically for a pioneer engineer to plug their specific equipment in to for diagnostics and FW reasons
It is an engineering port for service center access with a proprietary adaptor.
If any service tech has video of what it looks like when it's connected and what they do with it, post if you can, I am just interested no particular reason
No service tech would risk losing their job by posting confidential information about the diagnostic port.
Besides, why do you want it to dispense free jellybeans anyhow?
