I've recently bought a pair of CDJ 1000 MK2's (second hand). After the first gig (>8 hours of continuous usage), one of them just died on me (no LCD activity, buttons didn't work etc.).
I've sent it to one of the Pioneer services listed on my country's official site and they've told me the fuse is the cause for this. They've changed the fuse and sent it back, but after keeping it on for about 2hr, the same problem occurred.
After sending it back to the service company, they said they've changed the fuse again and also discovered that a transistor was the cause. Needless to say that the next time I used the gear, it died again after a few hours.
I've sent it to another Pioneer service (the main service contact for Romania) and they said that they've fixed the problem... I've been able to use it for about 4hr in total, and of course, it died again.
At the moment I'm really very dissapointed and I have no clue on how to go on with this. I would really appreciate if someone here could give me a hint on what the problem could be or where should I send it. If the official Pioneer service people weren't able to fix my issue, where can I go next?? At the moment I don't even care how much it costs (unless it's the price of a new device), I just need to get it fixed. I've lost more money because of transport and service than probably it would have costed me to replace the whole circuit board.
Please help me in this issue. Thank you.
