@Tom > You'll need to give us more information. What is your setup? When did this error occur? Are you using commercially pressed CDs or ones you burnt yourself? Can you consistently reproduce the problem?
The more information you can give us, the better we can help you.
Hi, apologies for the lack of information.
Ive had the CDJ1000 Mk3's for around 4 months.. i got them second hand but they had never been used.
I use Sony CD-R Discs.. i went to play a disc 2 days ago and as soon as i turned the player on the error code e-7001 appeared.
The cue and play buttons don't flash so there is no option to play the disc ever though it sounds like it's loading. the error code just remains on the screen all the time.
@Tom > When you say 'never been used' do you mean 'never been used by you' or 'never been used at all'?
I believe this error code relates to a technical issue with the disk drive. You will need to contact technical support to arrange a repair - links are in the column on the right >>
Never been used at all, they were a unwanted gift.
Ok i will do that, thanks for the help
@Tom > Sorry I didn't have better news for you. If you are in the UK you can find a full list of all the authorized service centers here: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/content/support/support/service.html
I took the CDJ to a local repair shop that's experienced with Pioneer products.. they say it's a error with the motherboard.
It's had less than a year of light use. Can you reccomend me a place to buy Pioneer parts at a reasonable price?
Thanks
Sounds about right - you might be able to get the part number by contacting tech support in the column on the right. I would, however, recommend you get your local CDJ repair shop to do the job for you (or perhaps even order the part).
