[SOLVED] CDJ 400 vs CDJ 350

Hopefully this is the right place for this question (i'm posting on both 350 and legacy boards)... I'm looking to jump to a USB media player and i'm curious what are the major differences between the two. Specific features i'm curious about are file format support and data base handling on each deck. And anything else that pops into mind...

Thanks everyone, Hmm i may have to go with 350, the .WAV is very important and newer MP3 format is important to me. Also load times seem to be a fraction of the 400...

Has anyone had any issues with store bought mp3s not working on 350?

Have you considered the 850?  It's a larger format with very similar features to the 350 and not too much more cost-wise.

Suggesting CDJ-400's was not my intentions infact offered a link wit CDJ-400's Vs CDJ-350's review & look for the fine print they discontinue my CDJ-400's obviously shows theres no support for em. Plus wit CDJ-350 includes Rekordbox so obviously he wont need any Hardware Dongle/Rane SL1, 2, 3, 4 he has included wit CDJ-350!! or CDJ-850 FTW!! Too!!

@Pulse - if i can find a good deal on 850s because they seem to cost 200 bucks more which adds up when you buy two lol plus i like a smaller footprint on my decks because i have very little space at home and if i need to bring them to a gig they are a lot easier to carry...

anyway, i'll be looking into some 350's instead of 400's you guys have convinced me (i'll also keep an eye out for 850's)

@DjDedan > Obviously cost and footprint are a big factor - just wanted to make sure you knew all your options.  ;)

I own a CDJ-350 and would highly recommend it, and it also has an effect similar to one on the CDJ-400 which is loop divide - and it's a fantastic unique addition to the deck that you won't find on any other current Pioneer CDJ - even the larger, more expensive models.
