[SOLVED] CDJ400 + TRAKTOR 2.5.1 - Set cue loop like CDJ.. it's possible ?

Hi boys, i'm new here and i have this dubs:

I have use 2 CDJ-400 sometime i use a PC with Traktor 2.5.1........ but i notified one big difference.

When i play the CD and try to set the CUE Point the CDJ-400 have a little loop playing to help to found exact cue point.

When i use Traktor with a MP3 this loop it's no present....... i need to set many time the CUE point to set exact position.

It's possible to simulate this little loop in traktor ? I don't know if i have explain correctly... sorry but i'm italian.

You know a ITALIAN Section or ITALIAN forum i can ask this question ?

Ah - you mean "stutter cue" mode.  Unfortunately that is a thing of the past; it was the ONLY way to cue a CD back in the 90's, but since the advent of vinyl-mode and software, manufacturer's have dropped what was a 1-frame of CD-audio loop in favour of the scrubbing cue now available.  With software, it's also much easier to see the cue point thanks to the waveform.

Sorry, but there is no implementation available anywhere for such a function.

Has it not occured to pioneer that a great number of DJs aren't bothered about living in the past with vinyl mode, and actually prefer the stutter cue method?

Nice attitude.   I raise the point about pioneer leaving stutter behind because its a frame by frame cueing function is not available on pioneer brand midi controllers.  If thats because of the software develpers they work alongside then I guess the problem is with the software guys.  Maybe  Pioneer should make a controller to work alongside Rekordbox LINK if that would me we can have frame by frame cueing again?

@Craig Holmes: The Stutter cue point i thinks it's usefull only if use a CD AUDIO of MP3 on USB or again a MP3 Burned on CD ifact in this mode the stutter cue method it's present.

If you have a MONITOR how you can see the WAVE forms of audio tracks the stutter cue point it's useless.........

But i remember a OLD programs........... 4 example the ALCAtech BPM Studio has the stutter cue point function.... but it's no working with recent MIDI controller and working only whit proprietary hardware.

But all this it's useless... on pioneer software all use the SYNC button... at this point it's all useless, remove PITCH function at this point.

It's far from useless. As a Dj I always naturally prefer the sense of sound over sight. Secondly I believe we should keep screen gazing to a bare minimum and I should also point out the wave display is only useful when starting a track on beat. A lot of commercial tracks start with a vocal or you need to cut in on the vocal, the waveform is not do useful for that.

@Craig... sorry for me but i can't understand one things :)

I don't understand if you are agree or not with me :) ?

I know...the stutter cue point it's not present on TRAKTOR and it's not present on Virtual DJ but i like it... when i use the mp3 on CD or on usb it's really usefull.

Sorry for my older post but i'm italian and i can't understand..... i thinks the stutter cue point it's very like to use.... the stutter cue point exist from the older CDJ-100 and it's just present in cdj-500 some years before traktor and other software and i'm 33 years old, i 4 ever used the stutter point to find cue point........ simply this is the motive of this question.

The bottom line is, no, there is no way to do that within the software.  Sorry!
