Why aren't there many people or pics of the CDJ-300?

Ok so in a few articles I have read, the first CDJ was the CDJ-300 in 1992, which predated the CDJ-500. What I am wondering is, when I do google searches on the CDJ-300, there are very little photos or any write ups on the player. Granted, in 1992, there wasn't really much of an internet or digital cameras, however, I don't see anything about them or anyone who owned the player. Was the CDJ-300 a prototype or was it something like a limited release experiment? I'm just wondering what was the CDJ-300, and why aren't there many people who own one if it was the first CDJ?

Think of it like the Apple Newton. It was an interesting, first of its kind product. Apple learned from it and built the iPhone and iPad several years later. Same with the CDJ300... Look where we are now with the CDJ2000.

True, but you can find quite a bit of marketing photos of the Apple Newton, there is barely anything on the CDJ-300.

Come to think of it, the first version of the CDJ-500 is also quite a rare. Not as rare as the 300 but you can hardly find the player with the single loop buttons.
