Soon there will be the Release of Surface.
The Product seems to be predestinated for mobile Djs.
Because you are able to use Rekordbox (hope so Pioneer?) and Dj Software like Traktor or Ableton at the same time.
In addition you can have Apps like the remote midi control app on the IPad.
Now with Surface you have everything connected on this single PC.
What do you think?
(Btw: I'm looking forward to buy a Notebook just for Djing, so the question: Is Surface the Product of Choice?)

NO , JUST NO.
I got a HUGE 21.5" touchscreen monitor , And i ran Metro UI (Also know as microsoft surface) and it was HOR-RIBLE.
If you have to control it with a mouse it then becomes the most annoying piece of software.
DJ'ing by a touchscreen also doesnt work out verry well.
Its just one of those things where we'll have to wait and see.
I mean, some touchscreen products do work great for DJing - but in terms of getting DJ products out for this, it could take some time.
