There will be no official support on any operating system until after that OS has been publicly released and the engineers have had an opportunity to test the software / drivers.

Windows 8 confirmation
I'd just like to add the latest evolution of rekordbox works with no issues on Windows 8 pro.
I would however like to know if there would be any possibility of a version of Rekordbox which may work on the lighter Windows 8 RT version as this does not support older windows programs (differences in chip set)

i can understand that, however the os was released to developers a good few months ago so I'll assume from that pioneer decided to pass on that oppertunity.
The above question will influence my next piece of hardware i buy and ive primarily held off a pre order debating on this compatibility. i could go and buy a full windows 8 pro tablet to go with my tower system but there is a few hundred pounds price difference - could you advse any form of timescale where this maybe looked into? it will be publicly available this friday and would be keen to know if this would be looked at or if they are just going to develop for ios and android - windows phone has been over looked again.
