No, unfortunately only USB devices are supported for export. I use a FireWire drive for my main library but must use a USB device for all exports. It has been requested for support but it's not available yet. Sorry!
will Rekordbox software on a mac recognise a thunderbolt hard drive to export / write to. I am thinking of getting a Lacie Solid State Rugged 120gb drive with USB 3.0 & Thunderbolt ports and wondered if Rekordbox will recognise a thunderbolt drive to write to? I am thinking this will greatly increase write speeds if it works. Then hopefully I could use the USB connectivity for devices to read on such as the CDJ 2000 / Aero. Here's hoping

thanks pulse i think it would be a great development if thunderbolt drives were included for export in rekordbox, heres hoping
What about drives that have both Thunderbolt and USB connections? Are they supported?
Example: http://www.macrumors.com/2012/09/25/lacie-launches-rugged-thunderboltusb-3-0-portable-drives/
yes, those "should" work fine, use Thunderbolt on the computer to transfer the files and then usb connection on the CDJ
Just for emphasis, theoretically they 'should'...
