REKORDBOX 2.0.2

Dear Pioneer,

How can u release updates without testing/fixing all the crashes that everybody reports.

WE ARE NOT BETA TESTERS

Your update is full of bug, crashing 20 times a day, and each time i want export playlist to my Usb Sticks

Rekordox 2.0.1 was working fine

U just ruin my week end, and i have to go back with Serato for my Gigs

Congrats

I had the same problem and as Pioneer refuses to resolve it or provide v2.0.1 again, I thinkered around a bit and the following fixed it for me (don't ask me why):

  1. Reinstalled Rekordbox 2.0.2 (drag old to Trash and then install again)
  2. I converted all the songs in my playlist to MP3 (some where ACC or "Purchsed ACC Audio File"
  3. Reimported (from iTunes using Bridge) into Rekordbox
  4. Obviously had to set the Cue Points again

Now all transferred without any problems.

Try it! If it works for you, post here so others can try as well.

Cheers,

Roberto

@lazykay > This update was vigorously tested by our beta users and proved to be very stable. I've sent the engineers the relevant files following our email conversation and I await a response from them for you.

I'm just going to point out that all your beta testers shouldn't be DJ's with high end Macbook Pro's in their set up.  Beta testing should be done on varying computers and varying platforms, with varying file types, with varying USB's or switches.  And when nobody complains, you can then release the new version/update.

I'm not having big issues (maybe because I use an MBP-> USB, I don't know), but I will say that it seems almost every update is a fix for a previous update.  That right there should tell you that your beta testing process is not done the right way.

Thx Gavin for the Update

I've just exported 1 big itunes folder, 10 playlist, 2000 tracks via the Bridge, and no crash

I'm gonna update the subjet of the topic as well, rekordbox is not a crashbox anymore ;)

Hello Gavin,

How can I get this update? I'm still on "crash"-box 2.0.2 on my Mac 10.8.2 and really need my Rekordbox to work again!

Regards,

Roberto
