Rekordbox 2.0.2 OK or not, because I'm still with version 1.5.3, I do the update or not, as I see that people have problems with the new version, I hesitate to install this rekordbox version

DON'T DO IT MICHEL!! At least not until Pioneer have issued another update to fix the bugs. 2.0.2 is both unreliable and frustrating. I would seriously wait - If I could reinstall the previous version then I would.
Don't! If we are talking rekordbox, don't upgrade anymore once it works!
Unless the re-write the whole program.

And no problems here either. If you're worried, make a complete back up before updating so you can revert if you have any issues.
I havent had crashes but I do have a lot of tracks now, after re-analyzing my collection, That have the wrong wave when loaded and shows the wrong bpm on the deck, THe BPM says 128 for a track but the deck will read somewhere around 90
Look in the pic below, the moving wave is showing the correct layout where the track is loud at that point yet the top waveform shows the track is coming to an end, also the bpm reads 94 yet the tag and the actual bpm is 128.
I worked 2 - 4 hour events this weekend and I would say a goo 15-20 tracks were now messed up. If I re-analyze the track again it is fine but I would rather wait for an answer before I re-analyze my entire library again!
Rekordbox 2.0.2 has proven to be one of the most stable versions yet. Most users that have had problems, when contacted and diagnosed, proved to be user error.
@Michel I haven't had any issues or crashes at all with rekordbox 2.0.2, it's the most stable version I've used so far!

With all due respect that's bs. There are still a ton of people that are still having issues. And probably many more that don't even know about this forum or can't be bothered posting on here.
2.0.2 is fundamentally flawed. I can't comment on the PC version, but the Mac version is FUBAR.

yes, the match up between the file and the associated info is messed up, I posted above and have the same issue, many tracks have the wrong waveform now and the bpm in the tag says 128 but the deck says like 92, something is up, this is after I re-analyzed my qhole library, what a waste of time that was

With the Nexus decks you have no choice but to update :(
Ok, Gavin, if it's that stable for everyone, please can you explain what I did wrong? I analysed tracks as usual and then attempted to export them to a USB. RB carshed constantly whilst trying to do that, taking me over 4 hours to get tunes to a USB. Then when I took it out, Several tracks had not transferred, one would not start and at least two were labelled incorrectly. What is it that I did wrong to make that happen?
why the old version of Rekordbox are not available in download, free thing to people who desire to return to a previous version

Don't update... I regret having updated. I can't make one single succesfull export. I only have my back up USB, which was updated before 2.0.2. Alle new stuff are going on a seperate USB untill pioneer fixes this issue with crashing. I know some people don't have issues.
IF ONLY it crashed 3/4 times... But it crashed EVERY SINGLE TIME. Regardless of USB 2.0 / 3.0, new / old USB's. I've tried everything.
Have never ever had problems with Rekordbox... But 2.0.2 almost ruined my weekend of gigs, if I didn't had a back up USB.

Help... rekordbox 2.0.2
every 4 songs or about 15 minutes rekordbox asks me to save it as a playlist I'm playing and stops playing the current song. how I can turn this option off? this problem is embarrassing when I'm performing live HELP!
I find myself in the same position as Michel franck and would also like to know what is the correct way to install RB to 2.02 without having the nightmare crashes but from what read hear there is a whole lot of difference in opinion ,It needs to correct as there is no way back to past RB versions such as 1.53 which to me is always stable . Can Pioneer produce an idiot guide to install RB 2.02 ?

Just make sure to back up your current library, download the previous version, install it, see if it works, then remove 2.0.2.
