Problem using Rekordbox and external sound card (OSX 10.8.2)

Hello,

I broke out my M-Audio Fast Track Pro external sound card and noticed that Rekordbox doesn't output sound through this device.

I've set my output audio device in System Settings > Sound to the Fast Track Pro.  iTunes and other system audio plays through the external sound card just fine.  However, Rekordbox plays through the internal computer speakers.

It feels, somehow, that Rekordbox is not recognizing the system-wide audio output setting, and, instead, is forcing its own audio output through the built-in audio on my mac.

I tried looking in the Rekordbox preferences to see if there are options to select the audio output device, but there are none.
