I'm assuming you are talking about iTunes on your iPad, right?
Then yes, you can as tracks are copied to the area under rekordbox's control.

Rekordbox to iPad
Once I have imported from iTunes to rekordbox on my iPad can I then del the tunes from iTunes to free up some space ?????
