Issue using Rekordbox with Macbook Pro (Retina) w Mountain Lion

Late 2012 Macbook Pro Retina

16 GB Ram Running OSX 10.8.4

Rekordbox 2.0.7

Issue - When computer is simply connected to hub, CDJ start freezing after a few tracks loading/playing -  including tracks from USB stick, even if nothing has been loaded from computer. This had happened consistently with 2000's, 2000 Nexus, 900 Nexus Mixer as well as the 2000 DJM. Happened prior to most recent update (2.0.7) as well as after.

Initially I thought the problem was the Thunderbolt/Ethernet (apple) adapter, but I tried the exact same USB/Ethernet (cisco) adapter another DJ at the club uses successfully w/ similar Macobok specs & had the same exact problem. The tech guys at the club (Marquee LV) are pretty knowledgeable with your products, have confirmed all settings are correct etc, but we are at a loss.

Any help greatly appreciated ;-)

@Frank > Just in terms of eliminating (or identifying) potential equipment that may be causing issues, have you tried using a different laptop at any stage? Do you disable the wireless on your MBP when using rekordbox? When connected to the hub, are there any other connections running through it or is it solely dedicated to the ProDJ link network?

Worked with my older (2007) laptop, and works fine with other resident dj's laptop which is similar to my current model (late 2012 vs 2013) Tried everything, including disabling wii

Hub is dedicated

@Frank > Ok, then are you sure you have allowed Pioneer traffic through any anti-virus or firewalls you may have enabled on your Mac?

Tried again after a few Apple AND Rekordbox updates, but the problem persists. Since I have most of what I'm currently playing on USB, might try a fresh install & lose the database - tho there is a lot of work there - any last suggestions?

Might be stating the obvious here, but create a backup (or two) of the database before you try a fresh install.

If it dosen't work, then at least you can go back without loosing all the work
