Covers for wav files

Hi there,

i added  pictures to every song in my collection, only WAV files, in rekordbox.

Now i want to export certain playlist from my collection on my PC to my USB stick to use it on a CDL2000.

but the covers won't be copied.

Am i wrong or is it not possible to export the covers to the USB stick while using wav files?!

I know that WAV can't "include" Pictures like a mp3 do, but ist there not workaround wich saves/exports the covers on the USB stick.

and the CDJ connects the tracks with that covers?!

keep it deep ;-)

using

latest RB version

win7 ultimate

The deeper the better Gunnar ;-)  From my experience wav files do not include artwork but there may be a workaround for this as you say by manually adding artwork to each track although you probably won't find every track's artwork.  I have owned a pair of cdj 2000's for approx 3 years and always bought wav files but have have started to purchase aiff files from beatport recently as you don't have the pain in the ass job of renaming every track within rekordbox plus aiff files include artwork.

Probably didn't answer your question but maybe something to consider in the future.

Hey mate, thx for the info. But i have a general problem with Apple stuff :D but yes in this specific case it would be better to use aiff

anyway, i just found out that you can add the pictures also on the device itself. (picture "rekordbox2") and you will see the picture on the 2000cdj. Thats exactly what i want. Perfekt.

So why is it not possible or not working, to add them in the normal "collection" and export everything togehter (track and picture) to the usb stick. Should be no prob for the software... :-(
