It is not so long ago I had to reanalyze all my tracks, and and my good it was a lot of work... because I altso have cue points on every track.
I have done nothing else than updated my RB, and open it... and this is what I am faced with (the picture) ... All my artwork... GONE.. and the waveform GONE.... I refuse to do the same proccess once again... and the worst is, I have a gig next week...
What shall I do???

I tried to reinstall RB... and now it is getting even better... I get the missing file manager.... and when i relocate the song... the first problem is still there... thats in the first post.... WHAT THE HECK SHALL I DO....????? I need help quick....
Is it possible that your database is not in the default location that rekordbox looks to? When you updated, perhaps the new version is not looking to the same location for your database that the old rekordbox was. Do you still have the old version installed? If so when you open the old version does everything appear normal?
Although, thinking about that some more, it would be strange that all the tracks are still in your collection but you can't see the wave forms or the artwork. Also strange that you can see the detailed wave form but not the overview wave form above it.
Do you store your tracks and/or rekordbox database on an external HDD?
Everything is in the same location as I always have it.... Nothing is changed... No I only have the newest version installed... And everything is screwed up....
Do you remember what version you had installed previous to 2.2? Was it the one immediately before or a few versions back?
I really dont remember... where is it possible do download previous versions, so I can try out???
I even tried insalling on my other mac... exact same problem :(
So are you using an external HDD for anything? Tracks or Analysis files? If you tried installing on your other Mac and are experiencing the same issue I assume you are using an external HDD?
I found this in the rekordbox help files, not sure if it's of any use....
The overall waveform is not displayed when tracks are played in the player panel. **[New**]
Check that the location of the “PIONEER” folder (containing the analysis files) is properly specified at [File] -> [Preferences] -> [General]. If a location in which the user does not have access authority is specified, the analysis results cannot be created.
My mp3´s are on a external drive, as it has always been... before trouble to...
And the pioneer folder is in User/Library directory like it has always been...
When you tried installing and testing on your other Mac, did you copy the database across from your main laptop? i.e. /users/<username>/library/pioneer/rekordbox
When you updated did you use the update manager utility within rekordbox?
Also, if you reanalyse a track does everything function normally again for that track or do you still have issues?
Lastly, I think I've had a similar issue before when I had a dodgy external hard drive. Might be worth trying to move a folder containing only a few tracks from your external hdd to your lappy hdd, then relocating them through rekordbox (pointing to the new location on your laptop hdd) and see whether everything functions normally for those select tracks without reanalysing them (i.e. all wave forms return and you can play the track on rekordbox). It's a stab in the dark but worth a try IMO.
Unfortunately if nothing above helps you figure it out, that's all I can think of based on my experiences... Perhaps the Pio mods can jump in… Good luck mate!
Dj Ceci i don't know if this is related, but when i was installing rekordbox on fresh installation windows 8, then i had the same problem, no waveform at all. Then i did the windows updates, specially the net framework updates, and everything was fixed. If i am wrong about it, sorry, just trying to help.
Yes I copied the database from the main laptop…. This is a thing I have done many times, with no problem… but this time everything is messed up.
I have tried to recall from another HDD,,, no luck.
I have all my tracks on a SD card that is in my CDJ player.. and on those is all the info I need basically… all cue points and so on… Is it any way to reverse the operation, so i transfer all info,songs,beatgrid,cue points and so on from my SD into Rekordbox???
