Great "Gain" program for you guys to get all tracks the same volume
I have been looking for a while to add some volume to my older disco, motown, 80's tracks being I have to crank my mixer gain when I am jumping through genres and have little head room in the mixer, Serato did a great job at this where you can set the auto gain to a set DB and it play played all the tracks at that volume,
anyway, MP3 gain was my favorite tool for this but it fails a lot on the mac version and you cannot drag from RB into MP3 gain
For $5 in the app store I found "Smart Gain", You can go to a RB playlist, highlight all and drag into the gain program, it quick analyzes, you select "auto detect" and it gives you a visual of the new gain, if you like it, you hit apply.
I like it mainly because it is all wave visual based instead of dealing with some tracks needing + or- a certain DB value. I did about 200 tracks and they all sound great now.
No, this does not make your track more clear, it just adds a little gain value without having to convert the file

It just raises the track a little. Not compressing anything. It's good for old tracks from the 70s and 80s that people may have ripped from vinyl too that are a little low. You can get a little more gain out of them, same as if u wee just manually raising the gain on ur mixer. Some tracks I had to crank my gain all the way up to get it even with a newer tracks volume level. This sinter same as what Serato does pretty much with their auto gain feature. I ran a bunch of tests and it sounds great. A lot if people already use mp3gain with no issues, this is just a better version them that and easier to use.

for example, Here is one track I did, Old Queen song I had to use for a client and the original was sooooooo low and I had to raise the mixer to 10 for it match volumes. I attached before and after shots. this one was raise +4db from the original without converting the track or anything, it just changes the tags output number
