The use of ethernet allows for multiple computer connections (and wireless connections), whereas USB does not, and also requires drivers for Windows based machines.

[SOLVED] Rekordbox With USB Cables
Is there future scope to be able to use Rekordbox (laptop version) with USB Cables? Such like as with Serato in HID mode.
This would cut out the need for ethernet cables and would lead to more people using this version live instead of Serato/Traktor. I prefer to use the laptop version as when I use the USB pen drive I tend to work my way down the list.
