[OPEN] MP3 file info

May seem a daft question, but will the information within an MP3 track cause it to not load/play via Link? When I buy my music, the first thing I do is delete all file info, such as artist, title, year, genre, time, art, etc. So basically all I have is a filename - it's something I've always done as I like to be organised and keep things simple with minimal info. So my normal track info will consist of a filename and bitrate only. Should this cause some tracks not to load/play in rekordbox via Link? I ask because when I had the CDJ 2000nexus this would happen randomly with tracks (tracks would play one minute and same track wouldn't a minute later). Never had a problem with my CDJ 900, however which makes me believe it was a 2000NXS issue, hence why I sold them. All tracks work in Traktor Pro, I should add. I'm just considering buying some more CDJs again (850-W).

@S-TYPE > There could certainly be malformed data within the ID3 tags that can cause loading problems. I know I've seen more bad MP3s from Beatport thanks to the embedded artwork than any other issue with tags. It could also be bad data in the MP3 itself, which would still allow it to play in many players and software, but cause others to crash. Typically, there's no reason to remove all the data. If the problem comes from linking to rekordbox, chances are it's not a problem with the MP3s but your computer or the hardware you're using to network the player to the computer.
