Deleting playlists for good

Hi,

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to delete playlists from my HD. While those playlists do not appear in Rekordbox on my laptop anymore, they still do appear when the HD is plugged in the CDJs. Has anyone ever encountered this problem and been able to solve it?

Thanks in advance.

That's kind of weird... Possible mess up with the sync function? Do you use mac or win?

can you delete that playlist on the deck itself, I am not in front of mine to test but I though once a playlist was highlighted you can select menu and delete playlist. I could be wrong though but worth a shot

Sorry, i'm using win, not that it would be a big difference on that case.. But try what BriChi suggested, i think it will work.

and Taso is on the right path with the sync function too, dso you have that playlist set to sync? if so it may still be holding onto it and didn't delete from the HD properly.

First of all, thanks to you two for the suggestions.

If you are talking about the sync fonction in Rekordbox preferences, it is set to "off".

I'll try deleting the playlist from the CDJ itself and will let you guys know.

its the synchronization of playlists we are talking about, not the beat sync function. The sync of playlist option is located when you plug in your usb drive, click on the drive and to the right you have options to enable synchronization on specific or all playlists from your local library to the external

Allright, I see now. So the playlists I was talking about do not appear in that window. Nor is the automatic sync box ticked.
