The same on Windows. 3.1 does not appear link button. In 3.0 there is everything ok
Hi, I have a A1425 MacPro Retna, 2 CDJ900's & 2000DJM mixer. I'm using a LAN Line to USB hub and everything was working fine until I updated my RB from 3.0.1 to 3.1.0 now the LINK Icon doesn't appear at all. As far as trouble shooting goes, I have updated the Firmware on my decks and mixer to the latest. I tried turning off my WIFI, Firewall and other applications to aid in getting the ICON to come up. It seems as if the new update does not support none LAN Line systems as the previous version of RB 3.0.1 DID support my LAN line USB Hub converter.
As a side note I wound up having to run home before staring my show and grab my old Mac Pro that does have a LAN Import and older Rekordbox version and plugged it into my system and it worked fine. I'm all for retro but I hope that the updates from now on will also support uses that don't have LAN imports and have to use LAN Hubs.

Glad to know it's not just a Mac issue.
Now I'm using the 3.0 still, but hope the 3.1 will be fixed soon
Yeah I'm gonna have to Time Machine my Mac to get the 3.0 Version, unless you know another way I can reload the 3.0 version.
On the same subject a Pioneer Rep did email me and send me these trouble shooting methods to see if it would help to clear up the problem. I let the rep know I tried them all last night but still hasn't worked. Here were the reps suggestions...
Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.
Depending on the security software used on your computer and its operating
system settings, it may not be possible to establish a PRO DJ LINK
connection.
If this occurs, it will be necessary to check your settings for the
following four programs to ensure that they are not blocked:
- rekordbox.exe - PSvNFSd.exe - PSvLinkSysMgr.exe -
edb_streamd.exe
If the computer has multiple networks (wired LAN, wireless, etc.), Pro DJ
Link may not be operating properly due to a conflict between the networks.
In this case, the problem can be solved by either disabling networks not
being used with Pro DJ Link or setting the network priorities properly.
Pro DJ Link may not be operating properly because the port rekordbox uses
with Pro DJ Link is being used by another application (NFS server, etc.).
In this case, quit the other application or service before using Pro DJ
Link.
Pro DJ Link may not operate properly when Internet sharing is enabled.
Disable Internet sharing.
If a router is connected on the Pro DJ Link network, the network may not be
properly established depending on the order in which the power of the
connected devices is turned on. Either turn on the router’s power before
connecting the devices, or disconnect the router.
