What version of rekordbox are you running?
Long story short, I deleted a bunch of songs from my iTunes library but they're still in my Rekordbox collection. If i delete my entire collection and then just import all my songs from iTunes again will i lose any of my Hot Cues or key analysis's? will i have to analyse every song again? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!! will i have to fix every single off beat beat grid again!
Thanks in advance
Bryn
(Whom is totally not talking shit about the beat grids :P)

3.1.0
so.... does anyone know? rekordbox is updated to the latest version and I've still got "ghost tracks" *messing* up my collection... :(
K then........ :/
Still really wanna know
It's quite simple -- if you have used the iTunes sync feature, running it again will remove the tracks you had removed from iTunes, thus dumping the "ghosts."
Please keep the language family-friendly.
Thankyou!
Okay, for anyone that sees this. if you delete a track from Rekordbox and then re-import it will not keep and beat grids or data. making it impossible to delete your entire collection and re-import the songs you want without having to fix all of the horrible beat grids again. Unless there is some way of keeping that data that I don't know of
@bryn > Correct; deleting a track from the collection deletes the corresponding database entries and waveform / beatgrids / hot cues / memory points / artwork.
is there any way around that at all? thanks
Can I ask what it is you're trying to accomplish? Maybe there's a better way of getting from A to B.
I have lots and lots of tracks that I have deleted from iTunes that are still in rekordbox. I want to delete everything then re-import the songs I want without losing the beat grids and info
